You will be the Maintenance Trainer for the Tactical Missiles Precision Fires team. Our group designs, builds, and fields the M270A2 and HIMARS precision fire launchers, delivering world class capability to U.S. and foreign military customers. We turn cutting edge engineering into operational solutions, and you'll ensure every user can maintain and operate those systems safely and efficiently.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Maintenance Trainer you will own the end to end training lifecycle for our Precision Fire Launchers-from early stage Engineering/Manufacturing Development through Production/Deployment. You'll partner with engineers, program managers, and logistics specialists to translate design data into clear, hands on curricula, then deliver that instruction to U.S. and international customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing, writing, and updating maintenance training curricula for M270A2 and HIMARS launchers, tools, and test equipment.
• Conducting classroom and field training on safe maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
• Performing training needs analyses and tailoring content to U.S. and Foreign Military Sales customers.
• Operating and teaching the use of vehicle diagnostic and test equipment, reinforcing proven troubleshooting methodologies.
• Coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and logistics disciplines to capture the latest technical data and ensure training fidelity.
• Managing training logistics, schedules, and documentation while maintaining strict compliance with safety and export regulations.
• Traveling domestically and internationally to deliver onsite instruction and support customer readiness.
• Continuously evaluating training effectiveness and iterating content to meet evolving mission requirements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Technical knowledge to ensure the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS)/ M270A1/A2 Fire Control System (FCS) and Launcher Module (LM)
Experience with proper utilization of system, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, in accordance with established procedures
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Must be willing to travel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exhibit competent computer skills to include Microsoft Office products and internet navigation capabilities
Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the customer and related stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
Have a developed understanding of the Instructional System Design Process.
Capable of designing, developing, and updating Training Support Package.
Experience in deploying a variety of training modalities for an effective learning experience.
Industry certifications in automotive mechanics.
International program experience
Military Experience
Proactive self-starter with a willingness to learn
