Description:
You will be the Project Engineer - Precision Fires Launchers Proposals for the Precision Fires Launchers Proposal Team. Our team drives every competitive bid for the Tactical Missiles Precision Fires program, turning customer requirements into winning technical, cost, and schedule proposals for domestic, FMS and DCS opportunities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer you will coordinate all proposal activities, partner with planners, and serve as the central point of contact for cross functional teams. You'll develop schedules, track tasks, flag risks, and craft the key artifacts that make our offers stand out-all while reporting to the PF Launchers Proposal Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Build and maintain detailed Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for each proposal in partnership with the planner.
• Lead kickoff, status, and risk identification meetings with engineering, cost, and program leads.
• Produce and manage proposal artifacts such as Contract Proposal Authorization (CPA) content, kickoff charts, INAR/EPP charts, ROMs, P&As, NTEs, and firm price estimates.
• Gather and consolidate cost, schedule, and technical data from functional groups; develop cost models and should cost analyses.
• Ensure all proposal inputs meet RFP specifications and support management reporting requirements.
• Communicate daily with discipline leads to resolve execution issues and keep the proposal on track.
• Prepare and deliver concise status briefings to program management and senior stakeholders.
• Support additional Precision Fires Launcher and Missile proposals when capacity allows.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites, partner facilities, or internal workshops as needed.

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Proposal, contract and or financial experience.
- Ability to read SOWs and determine program requirements across all functions.
- Ability to understand and becoming familiar with contractual terms and conditions, Statement of Work, Deliverables, etc.
- Ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously from inception to completion.
- Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. sourcing, receiving, shipping, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers)
- Excellent organizational, research and problem solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
-Proactive self-starter with a willingness to learn
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel

- Experience with launcher and missile systems
- Precision Fires experience
- Technical degree
- Military experience
- Experience developing and conducting presentations.
