Description:As the Environment Safety and Health Site Sr. Manger (Level 6) in Marietta, Georgia you will implement Environment, Safety, and Health programs and required compliance activities at the Marietta site and assigned remote sites. The selected candidate for this role will provide leadership for all ESH programs and compliance through interactions with site senior leaders as well as external regulators including OSHA and EPA. The selected candidate will be tasked with protecting the company reputation through full compliance of the law.
Lead various site programs and initiatives:
• Manage site programs to support compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Compliance Act and Hazardous Materials Transportation Uniform Safety Act
• Lead site Target Zero program to reduce injuries and Workers' Compensation costs.
• Leads site Go Green tactical implementation.
• Provide site support, direction, and oversight to:
o ISO 14001
o Sub-assembly locations and ensure that they have compliant ESH programs;
o Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT), International Air Transport Association (IATA), and International Maritime Organization International Maritime Dangerous Goods Regulations
• Responsible for site remediation activities, ground safety operations requirements, and industrial hygiene and ergonomic activities at the Marietta site.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• ESH Leadership experience
• Technical background or equivalent experience in one or more of the critical skills: environmental project management, safety and accident prevention, industrial hygiene
• Experience project and program managing multiple simultaneous initiatives and efforts
• Experience planning and allocating tasks and workload across a team
• Experience communicating across levels of an organization, functions and teams
• Experience in change management and planning activities as they relate to ESH integration and considerations
Desired Skills:
• Prior multi-location responsibility
• Knowledge of and experience with ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001
• Experience with Manufacturing and understanding of union environments and collective bargaining agreements
• Ability to make difficult decisions, solve complex issues and influence ESH cultural improvement
• Demonstrated management experience and oversight of budget elements, including both overhead and capital expenditures
• Lean Six Sigma green or black belt or other continuous improvement tools and techniques knowledge, including thorough root cause analysis and mistake-proofing processes
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
