Description:
You will be the Senior Subcontract Administrator for the THAAD Program team. Our team drives the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services that keep the THAAD missile-defense system moving from development through global sustainment. We develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and contract terms that enable on-time delivery for mission-critical solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Subcontract Administrator, you will be the key liaison between Lockheed Martin, our suppliers, and the contract office. You'll own the end-to-end subcontract lifecycle-from crafting bid packages to negotiating terms, awarding contracts, and managing performance-ensuring every subcontract supports the program's schedule, quality, and cost goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing comprehensive bid packages and leading bidders' conferences to clarify requirements.
• Developing clear evaluation criteria, analyzing proposals, and recommending award decisions.
• Negotiating subcontract provisions, amendments, additions, deletions, and modifications.
• Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing subcontract packages for internal approval and customer award.
• Issuing award notices and administering all resulting subcontracts throughout their life cycle.
• Collaborating with suppliers to secure on time delivery (OTD) of purchased parts, proactively mitigating delivery risks.
• Working with Contracts Administration and Purchasing to shape subcontract policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Authorizing supplier agreements and purchase orders within delegated authority.
• This position requires working on-site 2-3 days per week

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Must be able to work on-site 2 - 3 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong internal customer and supplier relationships.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify risk elements in business transactions, think analytically, and provide effective guidance towards resolving contractual issues
• Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and internal customers daily.
Desired Skills:
• Working knowledge of SAP and/or Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Working knowledge of Procurement processes including Lockheed Martin Material Acquisition Procedures and FAR
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Ability to lean forward and compliantly drive change leading to efficiency improvements and cost reductions where applicable.
