Centurion is seeking a highly skilled SAP MDG Developer – Material Master to support one of our federal government clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), particularly in Material Master, and experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate, consistent, and compliant master data across the enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) framework, focusing on Material Master.
Configure and enhance MDG processes, including rule-based workflows, validations, and data replication models.
Develop and customize data models, user interfaces, BRF+ rules, and data quality validations.
Collaborate with functional, business, and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable MDG solutions.
Ensure master data integrity, consistency, and compliance across multiple SAP and non-SAP systems.
Support integration between SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, and related systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to master data processes, governance workflows, and system performance.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing MDG configurations and implementations.
Document technical specifications, test plans, and design standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship - Candidate must be hold a Secret Clearance.
Proven hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) – Material Master.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and configuration.
Strong understanding of MDG data models, workflow management, and BRF+.Proficiency in ABAP development related to MDG extensions and enhancements.
Solid understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and metadata management.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) development.
Experience working in federal or highly regulated environments.
Familiarity with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
Exposure to Fiori UI5, Web Dynpro, and SAP Data Services (BODS).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
