The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist to support our Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) on the E-7 Program located in Tukwila, Washington. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization.
This critical role on the team helps manage the business and performance of the team to drive successful outcomes. Working as an integral member of the team, you will be responsible and accountable for the team's program execution in the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Agile process, in managing the scope, schedule, budget and EAC for Software. This position will support the E7 ECO platform as required, E7 USAF the focus area

Position Responsibilities:
- Integrates the implementation of Program Management Best Practices
- Support proposal development for all new and follow on contracts, to include development of BOE s
- Work jointly with E-7 Software Senior Managers, technical leads, and Product owners to provide continuity between technical execution, schedule and cost
- Supports Software IPT Lead and Program Manager to develop and execute business and program strategies
- Work with Finance and Scheduling to monitor all elements of cost through entire process, track EVM performance and provide regular updates to Senior Managers, SW director and Capability leaders
- Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation plans, and refines the business case
- Leads completion of monthly, quarterly and Comprehensive EACs
- Support Software Change Management Process and Tracking
- Support Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) Agile and EVM trend analysis
- Support Software level PtPs and PMM, support scheduling and Finance metrics, and major driver development across the E7 ECO platform
- Support Agile PI quarterly work package development and hour allocation
- Support Build plan development and revisions, and HC and hour analysis and trends
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
- 1+ year of experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers
- 1+ year of experience in developing and managing metrics, RIO, RCCA, and Lean
- 1+ year of experience with Earned Value Management
- Experience in a role requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience reading and interpreting technical data
- Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
- Experience working on airplane programs or supporting the production system
- Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
- Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, to include managing multiple priorities
