Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an AWS Engineer with a TS/SCI security clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer at Clarksburg, WV. This is a hybrid position, requires 3days onsite, 2days telework.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- In-depth knowledge of platforms like AWS including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, etc.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Associate) are a plus.
- Windows and/or Linux background preferred
- More specifically the person selected should be able to do some or all of the following:
- Windows Administration
- Proficient in managing users, groups, and policies within Active Directory.
- Ability to automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and updating Windows Server environments.
- Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and file/print services in Windows environments.
- Understanding of Windows security features, including firewalls and access controls.
- Ability to learn custom in house applications to provide Application Support, especially in case of a disaster recovery scenario.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application dataflows with tools such as Splunk and CloudWatch.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation.
- Ensure version control and proper documentation of AWS infrastructure code.
- Monitoring and Performance Optimization using tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Splunk).
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other relevant tools.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and ensure system scalability.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- 3+ years experience with Python or Typescript/Javascript
- Experience integrating multiple 3rd party libraries together
- Experience being in a continuous integration and continuous deployment process
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities/compliance
- Understanding of basic web application architecture
Additional Requirements:
- 2+ years related experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with AWS (e.g., CloudFormation, Lambda, Step Functions, SDK/boto3)
- Experience in continuous integration technology (e.g. GitLab, GitHub, Azure Devops)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with Poly
- Ability to work on-site in Clarksburg, WV (3 days per week)
- Strong documentation and communication abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
