IDR is seeking a Strategic Operational Planner III to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fort Meade, Maryland. This role is within a dynamic defense and security organization focused on military operations planning and cyber information operations. The position offers a chance to work on strategic military support operations with a team dedicated to national security.

Position Overview for the strategic Operational Planner III:
  • Lead detailed military planning efforts utilizing APEX and Joint Operation Planning processes to develop strategic options
  • Coordinate with cyber and information operations teams to integrate planning efforts and mitigate risk
  • Ensure military support operations align with strategic objectives and provide actionable plans for contingencies
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis and develop operational plans to support national security missions
  • Support the full range of military operations, including adaptive planning and execution

Requirements for the strategic Operational Planner III:
  • 9+ years of military operations planning experience, including joint planning and cyber planning if applicable
  • Demonstrated experience with the Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX) and Joint Operation Planning Process
  • Proven ability to develop complex operational plans and analyze military and cyber information operations
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required for consideration
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in military or information operations planning
