React Front End Developer
Location: Remote - supporting federal agency operations

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled React Front End Developer to support the development of secure, mission-critical web applications for a federal client. In this role, you will design and maintain modern, user-friendly interfaces while working closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless system integration.

This position plays a key role in delivering responsive, reliable applications that support federal missions in a secure cloud environment.

What You'll Do

As a React Front End Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web interfaces using React.js
  • Collaborate with backend development teams supporting Java and Java Spring applications
  • Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and services
  • Apply best practices for UI/UX, accessibility, and performance optimization
  • Support deployment and operation of applications in AWS cloud environments
  • Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Maintain clean, well-documented, and version-controlled codebases
Schedule & Shift Details
  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Remote work; support aligned to standard U.S. business hours
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active Clearance Required
  • 7-10 years of experience developing front-end applications using React.js
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Java backend systems
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting applications built with Java Spring
  • Experience deploying or supporting applications in AWS environments
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams
