Typical Duties
- Analyze, log, track, and resolve basic software/hardware anomalies pertaining to networked workstations and printers
- Perform imaging and configuration tasks for .MIL Standard Desktop Configured (SDC) NIPR/SIPR workstations
- Perform hardware/software installations and upgrades to ensure workstation performance
- Review weekly PC vulnerability lists and apply appropriate resolution
- Diagnose and resolve common PC issues
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma; Associate's degree or two-year technical school or military training in Information Technology preferred
- 0-2 years of experience working with hardware/software installations, imaging, troubleshooting and vulnerability assessments
- Basic knowledge of desktop computer systems
- Ability to analyze, implement, and document PC hardware and software problems
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft Office applications
- Local travel between Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Kennedy Space Center and the Jonathan Dickinson Missile Tracking Annex in Jupiter, FL
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship. Current clearance preferred.
