Overview
Abacus Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to provide information assurance support at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
3+ years experience in IT and systems support. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Must be Security+ CE certified. Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Information Assurance/Cyber Security Directives and Instructions. Knowledge of cyber security including the RMF process and Cyber Defense. Experience with SharePoint; Windows Desktop Operating Systems; Windows Server Operating Systems; Active Directory; and MS Office. Knowledge of ServiceNow. Proficient with Computer and Server Hardware. Able to capture and report metrics. Able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Must have strong team partnership and customer service skills. Strong troubleshooting skills. Must be self-motivated and possess strong communication skills. Mist be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities
- Provide information assurance oversight, guidance and support to the customer community in accordance with Federal, Department of Defense, and U.S. Air Force Information Assurance programs.
- Ensure applicable systems/networks/computing environments meet security requirements and that all security risks for those environments are properly mitigated.
- Provide technical and programmatic information assurance/cyber security services in support of system-level certification and accreditation processes.
- Provide support in Network Boundary Proxy and Firewall exceptions.
- Track and manage all open security-related problem reports and fixes.
- Provide necessary support for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements as well as re-accreditation requirements.
- Ensure configuration management for systems/networks/computing systems and hardware is documented and maintained.
- Review all Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) alerts, bulletins and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) for applicable implementation and remediation in the customer's network/computing environment(s).
- Provide support to maintain a comprehensive network security policy.
- Create, review and update standard operating procedures and AF Checklists.
- Review FFRDC System Security Plans.
- Assist with TEMPEST certification for Classified Processing Areas.
