Elkridge, MD (On-Site/Office)

CyberCore Technologies has built substantial capabilities across secure supply chain, software and systems development, IT infrastructure, and value-added reselling; our capabilities are supported by cleared personnel, an accredited SCIF, and scalable infrastructure. We're now looking for an operational leader who can integrate these assets into a unified platform for growth. The Head of Operations will translate our diverse capabilities into compelling, competitive offerings that capitalize on market opportunities. This is a role for a leader with vision; someone who sees how the pieces fit together and can turn operational excellence into revenue.

Strategic Impact

This role directly enables CyberCore's growth objectives by:

• Connecting capabilities to opportunities - Partnering with BD to identify how CyberCore's service lines can be packaged together to pursue larger, more complex contracts as a prime

• Ensuring competitive readiness - Achieving CMMC certification and maintaining security posture so CyberCore qualifies for the opportunities we're targeting

• Optimizing existing assets - Maximizing utilization of SCIF capacity, cleared personnel, and infrastructure investments to drive margin and enable new work

• Developing an integrated operational platform - Building a solutions platform that integrates service lines

• Building scalable systems that support 2-3x growth without proportional overhead increases

Key Responsibilities

Growth Enablement & Business Integration

• Work directly with BD leadership to translate pipeline opportunities into operational requirements: identifying how to combine service lines into winning solutions

• Develop integrated go-to-market capabilities that leverage secure supply chain, systems development, IT infrastructure, and reselling as complementary offerings

• Build operational frameworks that allow CyberCore to pursue prime contracts requiring multiple capability areas

• Identify adjacencies and white space where existing capabilities could expand into new revenue streams with minimal investment

• Support capture efforts with operational proof points that demonstrate to evaluators that CyberCore can execute integrated solutions

Compliance & Competitive Positioning

• Lead CMMC 2.0 certification to ensure CyberCore qualifies for target contract opportunities

• Maintain and optimize SCIF operations, maximizing utilization of classified workspace as a competitive asset

• Ensure security posture (NISPOM, ICD 503, NIST 800-171) supports business development objectives

• Direct IT infrastructure strategy to enable cross-service-line collaboration and scalable delivery

Organizational Leadership

• Lead four functional areas: Security & Facilities, IT, Customer Program Management, and Logistics/Supply Chain

• Foster collaboration across service lines, building relationships and processes that enable integrated delivery

• Establish metrics connecting operational performance to business outcomes: win rates, cross-sell success, utilization, proposal readiness

• Own operational P&L with focus on strategic investment that enables growth, not just cost control

• Serve as member of executive leadership team, contributing to overall company strategy and direction

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline; MBA or Master's strongly preferred

• 15+ years of progressive experience in defense/IC sector with 7+ years in senior leadership roles

• 10+ years of experience in growth-focused roles with demonstrated experience in organic revenue generation

• 5+ years of direct leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams

• Experience operating across multiple service lines in a defense contractor-understands how supply chain, technical services, and IT/infrastructure businesses work and intersect

• Track record of operational leadership that enabled revenue growth-not just maintained operations

• Hands-on experience with CMMC/NIST 800-171 compliance and classified facility operations

• Strong understanding of government capture process and how operational capabilities influence win probability

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance required

Desired Skills

• Background integrating service lines following M&A or during organic diversification

• Prior role bridging operations and business development - understands both sides of the equation

• Professional certifications: PMP, CISSP, CISM, or FSO/ISSM credentials

• Familiarity with market intelligence platforms and ability to translate opportunity data into operational planning
