Advanced Software Engineer

Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Perform software application and infrastructure development using structured processes.
- Maintain and support project hardware, software, and associated components.
- Analyze infrastructure and software requirements; conduct research and design solutions to meet system needs.
- Develop and test new work products, applications, systems, and embedded software.
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to build complex software architectures.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field and 5+ years of relevant experience (Or Master's degree + 3 years of experience)
- Department of Defense Secret clearance preferred at time of hire
- Agile development experience preferred
- Proficiency in:
- Kafka (required)
- Linux (required)
- Java (required)
- React (required)
- Docker/Kubernetes (required)
- Experience with:
- DevSecOps (preferred)
- AWS or other cloud services
- MPLS/networking technologies (preferred)
- GitLab and Jenkins (preferred)
- Jira (preferred)
- On-site work or travel may be required based on project needs.
