Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Electrical Spectrum Engineer to work onsite in Reston, VA. The Electrical Spectrum Engineer will plan, coordinate, and integrate complex communications and sensing systems, ensuring effective and interoperable use of spectrum across diverse platforms and stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Spectrum Engineer include:
· Perform design and development engineering assignments for systems hardware, including new product development and updates
· Conduct research and apply new processes and methods into product development
· Interpret and apply electronic theory and principles to schematics, diagrams, and plans
· Establish and execute testing routines, document results, and ensure compliance with technical standards
· Design, test, modify, fabricate, and assemble devices or equipment as needed
· Influence development of solutions impacting strategic project goals and business results
· Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders on matters of strategic importance
Qualifications for the Electrical Spectrum Engineer include:
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12-15 years of experience, or Master's with 10-13 years
· Proven ability to resolve highly complex problems and develop innovative solutions
· Strong understanding of electronic theory and principles, testing routines, and documentation
· Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage technical teams
· Excellent communication skills for executive-level engagement
· Active Secret clearance
Compensation for the Electrical Spectrum Engineer includes:
· Salary Range: $110,000 - $155,000 depending on experience
· Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
