Network System Administrator (Top Secret)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seekinga Network System Administrator to support an enterprise DoD network for DISA at Ft. Meade, MD. The team is seeking an individual who is well-versed with system operations and engineering sustainment, to support a mission critical IP messaging and communications transport network.

Clearance: Active Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility

Location: Ft. Meade, MD (100% onsite)

Responsibilities:

· Administer Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11) and RedHat Linux

· Administer Microsoft Server Operating systems (WinSvr2012, WinSvr2016, WinSvr2019, WinSvr2022, WinSvr2025)

· Implement DoD security standards such as NIST SP800.53 Compliance Guide

· Administer network infrastructure including routing protocols, switches, firewalls, and VOIP/UC, IP devices

· Troubleshoot and administer devices in enterprise LAN/WAN environment, implement LAN/WAN principles

· Implement security concepts and conduct vulnerability remediation using SCAP tool and STIG viewer

Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility
• Bachelors Degree and 4+ years of experience in a relevant field of study
• IAT II Certification (Security+CE, CySA+, CCNA Security, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft server operating systems such as WinSvr2012, WinSvr2016, WinSvr2019, WinSvr2022, WinSvr2025
• Experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems such as Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11
• Scripting experience using PoweShell/Shell
• Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network topologies (routers, switches, VLAN, encryption devices, VOIP, IP, Firewalls)
• Experience supporting Cisco products
• Experience with vulnerability tools such as STIG viewer and SCAP tool
• Experience implementing LAN/WAN principles
• Some experience with RedHat Linux
• Experience supporting enterprise DoD environment

Compensation:

• Total compensation based on experience level - $80,000-$85,000+ **based on years of experience**
