Description:WHAT WERE DOING
We deliver innovative, time-critical, SME-level technical expertise to the C4ISR family of fielded ground systems that support our customers in the field. Our Field Engineers provide technical support to operations forward environments and sustain and maintain the infrastructure and integration activities for our delivered C2 Ground Systems.
THE WORK
In this critical role, you will:
- Provide SME level Network Administrator expertise to the sustained operations and maintenance of the fielded ground systems.
- Provide ad-hoc troubleshooting during operations to include working issues at the tier 1-3 system levels.
- Perform system network functions during install events, integration activities and live customer operational events based on the customer changing needs and schedule at site.
- Display ability to install and configure routers, switches, and firewalls; perform troubleshooting analysis of network infrastructure and associated systems; maintain network diagrams and records, and work remotely via telecon or phone with the distant end on long haul communication issues.
- Display strong interpersonal, written and communication skills. These skills should include an emphasis on customer facing communications and will require an aptitude to verbally dialogue sophisticated system changes to all levels of technical acuity.
- Display familiarity with the use of engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, technical guides and manufacturers' manuals.
- Assist other engineers with defining the future architecture roadmap for integrating, testing and deploying future capabilities.
- Provide a direct link between the delivered systems to our remote customers and the factory engineers that facilitate system changes.

Basic Qualifications:
- Current / Active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance
- Current/valid CompTIA Security + Certification or equivalent certification for the DoD 8570/8140 customer requirement.
- Cisco/Juniper network device administration and configuration experience.
- OS system administration (Linux, Windows Server, Windows Client).
- Advanced Software Integration experience.
- Experience with System patching and updates.
- Active support for customer operations to include but not limited to shift work/weekends/extended hours.
Desired Skills:
- Advanced experience in Network and Systems Administration for physical and virtual systems technology.
- Experience with the administration and configuration of Linux operating systems including Solaris 11 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8)
- Experience with operating and configuring cross-domain trusted manager solutions (TMAN).
- Experience with Active Directory and group policy objects; domain administration.
- Shell Scripting experience with VB, PowerShell and Python.
- Remote Field Engineering and factory reach-back support.
- Network Encryption devices - KGs/Taclanes/ACAS

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
