Leidos is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy.   Join one of our high performing teams responsible for building the next-generation enterprise APIs and modern responsive user interfaces, supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public, positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month.  We are a team of forward-looking professionals in need of a strong candidate with this key required skill :  experience with defining system documentation requirements based on input from technical personnel.

  • Defining and documenting system requirements.
  • Creating test plans and test cases.
  • Using Agile methodologies in all aspects of the role.
  • Writing Technical White Papers.
  • Creating and maintain data flow diagrams.
  • All other duties as assigned or directed.


FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS ( Basic Qualifications )
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Proficient in defining system documentation requirements based on input from technical personnel.
  • Experience creating test plan, test cases and test execution.
  • Strong experience working in an Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI Level 3 Methodologies.
  • Previous experience with Social Security Administration.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.


FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE ( Required Skills )

These skills will help you succeed in this position:
  • Experience in UML diagramming and design documentation.
  • Knowledge of creating and maintaining Data Flow Diagrams and developing Use Cases.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Exposure to writing Technical White Papers and systems design documents.
  • Communication skills to present ideas and concepts effectively; strong and proven problem solving.
  • Self-managed with the ability to mentor others.
  • Strong experience with ALM to manage requirements.


HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills)

Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
  • Database experience such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL and JDBC.
  • Familiarity with project management frameworks.
  • Agile certification is desired.
  • Experience with Automation testing tools is desired.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred.

Pay Range: Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
