Credence has an immediate opening for an experienced Education and Development Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology Graduate School of Engineering and Management (AFIT/EN) directorate at WPAFB, OH.
AFIT's Graduate School of Engineering and Management focuses on high-quality graduate education and research. EN works on the leading edges of the technological disciplines that keep the Air Force dominance in defending the nation. The Graduate School provides graduate degrees and certificates in engineering, applied science, mathematics, and management. The appeal for the school's distinct educational opportunities is widespread and attracts high quality students from the other United States (US) armed services, Government agencies both inside and outside the Department of Defense (DoD), coalition countries, and US citizens (civilians) from across the country.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
- Prepare new reports in such a way that the designated users can produce them as needed by changing the selection data to match the current requirement.
- Use user documentation and training materials to prepare presentations which can be used to conduct training sessions with the appropriate staff members, including, but not limited to, AFIT/ENWE staff, departmental administrative support personnel, departmental heads and deputies, faculty, both instructional and advising, and students.
- Manage all aspects of the Ellucian Colleague SIS, which includes, but is not limited to, training, managing security protocols, testing and debugging new software patches and releases, developing reports and performing statistical analyses, and providing input on ways to use the system more cost effectively.
- Communicate closely with AFIT/A6 to ensure issues associated between the Oracle system and Ellucian Colleague are solved quickly and efficiently.
- Work with the Director of Student Services to prepare all-call rosters, distinguished graduate reports and to provide all data related to the International Student Program.
- Work with the various academic departments, the Offices of Academic Affairs and Institutional Research and various other personnel to provide data-mining services whenever they are requested.
- Develop written training materials as requested.
- Use Ellucian Colleague to assist in the maintenance of academic policy and procedures and maintains weekly project reports for the DAR.
- Skill required to implement the recommendations made to ensure the software is performing at maximum efficiency to meet the AFIT/EN mission requirements.
Requirements
- Clearance: NACI
- BS/BA degree in higher education or related discipline.
- Extensive, hands-on work experience with the Ellucian Colleague SIS including enrollment management (recruitment / admissions / registrar / financial aid) functionality, file structure and coding mechanisms.
- Hands-on higher education experience in enrollment management (admissions / registrar / financial aid), student services, institutional research and academic affairs functions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in and Business Objects' Infoview.
- Knowledge of the structure of the Ellucian Colleague software to enable analyses of AFIT processes and to prepare recommendations for system modifications and process improvements
- Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague rule writing requirements to enable the inclusion of rules where necessary to produce the desired results in the development of process definitions
- Knowledgeable about and has extensive and hands-on experience with the functionality of the Ad Astra room and class scheduling software and the On-Base document management software and uses those resources to problem-solve and act as a back-up when civilian personnel are not available
