Baer is looking for a Tricentis NeoLoad Performance & Automation Engineer (SAP S/4HANA) for a 6-month Government Project.

Title: Tricentis NeoLoad Performance & Automation Engineer (SAP S/4HANA)
Location: Remote (Minimal travel to Harrisburg, PA may be required)
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Rate: Hourly Plus Client Approved Travel Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 only (C2C or Vendors Not Permitted)

Project Overview

Our client is leading a multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation for a state-level transportation authority responsible for managing and modernizing toll-based roadway infrastructure and enterprise systems. This initiative includes the migration of SAP ECC, SRM, and BW systems to SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on modern analytics, enterprise planning, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies using Tricentis NeoLoad for SAP S/4HANA and integrated applications.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated functional and regression test cases using Tricentis Tosca.
• Develop and parameterize performance test scripts for web, API, SAP GUI, and SAP Fiori applications.
• Conduct performance test execution, monitoring, and analysis to identify system bottlenecks and scalability issues.
• Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable performance tuning recommendations.
• Integrate NeoLoad and Tosca test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing practices.
• Collaborate closely with SAP functional teams, BASIS, infrastructure, security, and third-party vendors to align testing efforts with project goals.
• Support performance testing for end-to-end business processes, including peak load, stress, endurance, and volume testing.
• Produce clear and detailed test plans, execution reports, defect documentation, and performance dashboards.
• Participate in project meetings, communicate test outcomes, and help drive continuous improvement in test strategy and execution.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on performance testing experience using Tricentis NeoLoad (mandatory).
• Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for test automation, including test design, execution, and maintenance (mandatory).
• Proven experience supporting large-scale SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, business processes, and common performance bottlenecks.
• Experience testing SAP integrations, including APIs, middleware, and third-party systems.
• Hands-on experience integrating test automation and performance testing into CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
• Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies (load, stress, spike, endurance, volume).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
