Program Description:
This role supports a long-standing, mission-critical naval strategic weapon system focused on sustainment, modernization, and future capability development. The program emphasizes rigorous systems engineering, interface management, and long-term system evolution in close collaboration with government stakeholders.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Apply advanced mathematics and statistical methods to analyze test data and assess system performance.
Evaluate test tolerances and accuracy of weapons performance systems using quantitative analysis.
Review and analyze classified ordnance documentation and test results on a daily basis.
Support performance validation efforts by interpreting stochastic event data and test outcomes.
Collaborate with engineering and test teams to ensure analytical rigor and accuracy in evaluations.
Required Skills
Strong background in advanced mathematics and/or statistics.
Experience with stochastic event data collection and analysis.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mathematics or Statistics.
Understanding of undersea systems and related programs.
Experience performing test tolerance and accuracy analysis.
