Provides future operations, crisis action and compartmented contingency planning support to inform senior leader decision-making and support Geographic CCMD/TSOC SOF specific planning requirements. The OGP Team will strengthening international partnerships and expand OGP through engagements with Partners, U.S. Embassies,
Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs), Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of State, numerous IA/ IC organizations and USSOCOM subordinate Commands. Includes tasks such as:

- Lead the USSOCOM Partner Nation Integration Process to include the nomination process, Embassy briefs, IA/IC coordination and CDRUSSOCOM decision making process.
- Draft and staff all correspondences from CDRUSSOCOM regarding OGP.
- Conduct all Interagency coordination to maintain and expand the OGP Community Of Interest to include drafting, staffing and implementation of the bilateral agreements guiding participation.
- Advocate for policy implementation regarding information sharing and resourcing.
- Ensures strategic vision through the development of Talking Points for DoD Senior Leaders, Testimony as well as publishing orders, participating in Global Posturing Reviews, and supporting Regional Counterterrorism Centers globally.
- Educate Senior Leaders and Staff Officers at all levels within DoD and Partner Nations on OGP.
- Provide the USSOCOM Global Missions Support Center with weekly Joint Staff reports highlighting successes of the USG and Partner Nations at OGP.
- Draft and staff Security Classification Guidance Update guiding information sharing at OGP.
- Publish a weekly Dashboard to Leaders and Action Officers across the USG and FVEY C-VEO community to ensure a common understanding of the activities at Operation Gallant Phoenix.
- Master's degree required in Strategic Communications, Management or a related field.
- 5 years of work experience directly related to Strategic communications with 20 years' prior military experience.
- 3 years' experience with strategic communications plans and processes; shall be well versed in all branches of the U.S. military and have a working knowledge of the joint service environment and of strategic communications concepts and USSOCOM core competencies
- 5 years' experience as a staff officer within HQ USSOCOM, a Service headquarters, or a combatant command headquarters (4-Star military HQ)
- 5 years' experience using communication skills, both written and oral, to include preparation of written products for senior leader (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level) use and the ability to communicate at all levels
- 3 years' experience working with USSOCOM, subordinate organizations, DOD, and knowledge of each military U.S. military service's roles and missions
- Current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access required
