What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, maintaining a visible presence as an armed security professional.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to help to maintain controlled access within the location.
- Remain alert to potential security-related threats or unusual activity, reporting observations and/or incidents according to site protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner as required by Allied Universal and client-specific protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain readiness for security-related and emergency response situations within an aerospace and defense environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
