Job Description

As a Security Guard - Armed Aero Facility Patrol in De Leon Springs, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with personnel and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential risks.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, in accordance with site protocols for an aerospace and defense location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents.
• Remain alert and observant to help to deter potential threats and report any suspicious activity immediately.
• Operate and maintain assigned security equipment and firearms in compliance with company and location-specific regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
