Markon is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to support a high-priority, highly visible malware analysis modernization program. This role supports a large-scale software development effort responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining mission-critical enterprise systems. The program delivers both sustainment of existing mission systems and modernization of cyber analysis, orchestration, and data enrichment capabilities using Agile, DevOps, and test-driven development practices.

USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities
- Administer, operate, and maintain Linux-based enterprise systems supporting mission-critical malware analysis capabilities.
- Support infrastructure automation and configuration management using Ansible.
- Architect, deploy, and maintain network solutions using Cisco technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues, outages, and network performance bottlenecks.
- Perform Cisco upgrades, patching, and optimization to ensure network stability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across compute, network, and storage environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to support modernized cyber analysis platforms.
- Support parallel sustainment and modernization efforts in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.
- Bachelor's degree plus 15 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise administering Linux systems in enterprise environments.
- Required experience with Ansible automation.
- Proficiency architecting and supporting Cisco-based network solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues.
- Experience supporting mission-critical, highly visible programs.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Pure Storage solutions.
- Experience with VMware virtualization.
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.
Salary Range
USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
