Arabic Linguist translation and interpretation

Position: Arabic Linguist translation and interpretation
Location: McLean, VA (CONUS and/or OCONUS operations)
Clearance: TS/SCI FSP
*Have taken and passed ICA Arabic test based on this contract's determination.
* Need OMS certification
*Must pass the department's interpretation test before final approval.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Translation:

Accurately translate report/texts in electronic and hard-copy formats that not only contain facts, but also some abstract language showing an ability to capture intended implications and many nuances
Ability to capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text
Interpretation:

Able to interpret accurately. The ability to consecutive interpretation is needed, but on rare occasions simultaneous interpretation maybe required.

Transcription:

Review audio or internet materials, transcribes with high degree of accuracy and expression.
Posses excellent English-language written communication skills for preparing reports.
