Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Orlando, FL is seeking an HWIL engineer to manage the test and integration of advanced HWIL subsystems.

What You Will Be Doing

Responsibilities include :

Development and integration of real-time, closed-loop systems for Radio Frequency (RF) Sensor Stimulation for Injection and Over-the-Air (OTA) sensor testing to characterize system performance.

Support system integration efforts to transition sensor test capabilities to closed-loop, real-time testing.
Support planning and conduct pre-flight data reviews.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related STEM discipline and 3+ years of related experience.

• Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance, therefore you must be US Citizen to apply.

• Experience in real-time HWIL software engineering and development

• Ability to interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team

• Linux, MATLAB and C / C++

-Experience Integrating HW and embedded SW
Desired Skills:
• Specializes in emulating interfaces and systems with tactical hardware in the loop (HWIL)

• Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, test equipment hardware/software design, integration and verification

• Experience integrating real-time models into a closed-loop simulation

• Experience simulating Datalink, GPS and Firing Module Simulators

• Experience using RF Test Equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
