Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking a software engineer to manage the test and integration of advanced real-time, closed-loop HWIL subsystems for the RFSPC program.
What You Will Be Doing
Tasks for this position will include development of Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS) real-time models, definition of Software (SW) interfaces to HWIL Hardware, and operating the HWIL RF test facilities.
The HWIL SW Engineer will be responsible for learning the HWIL system, operating the lab and developing facility SW upgrades.
The HWIL Engineer will support the integration team in debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs.
You will also be involved in the integration, test, verification and validation of the system and various subsystems.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related STEM discipline and 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience in real-time HWIL software engineering and development
• Ability to interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team
• Linux, MATLAB, and C / C++
-Experience Integrating HW and Embedded SW
Desired Skills:
• Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
• Experience integrating closed loop systems
• Experience with GitLab -Experience working with HWIL systems
• Experience using configuration management systems such as Git
• Experience with Embedded Software
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and HWIL software, components, subsystems and systems

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
