Description:Serve as a Geospatial Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the JC3-Functional Defeat (FD) Branch, responsible for the development of virtual and physics-based 3D models to support mission planning and minimizing collateral damage effects. You will be responsible for reviewing multiple intelligence sources to recreate surface and sub-surface structures in a virtual environment, which will be used as a part of larger 3D representations, or to calculate and predict blast effects. What You Will Be Doing
As a Geospatial Engineer, this position will be responsible for:
• Recreating real-world structures in a high-fidelity virtual environment to support mission planning and collateral effects assessments.
• Utilizing imagery analysis skills to determine the construction and design of surface and sub-surface structures.
• Utilizing GIS skills to transform vector and raster data into desired formats, combining them into larger datasets, and presenting them in a 3D environment.
• Collaborating with cross-function teams to develop plans and products.
• Providing technical guidance and expertise to junior team members and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Defense Acquisitions University certified
5 years experience in airdrop System Technician aerial delivery systems
Familiarity with military contracting and DoD acquisition process
Experience managing budgets, schedules and resources
Desired Skills:
Airdrop test planning and execution
Technical expertise & Development
Data analysis and reporting
Acquisition support
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
