MUST HAVE SALES MODULE AND SERVICE MODULE (CUSTOMER SERVICE) EXPERIENCE
Background:
• Seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 practitioner to support and enhance an existing enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. The role focuses on working closely with business users to translate operational needs into practical Dynamics 365 configurations and enhancements, primarily leveraging out-of-the-box functionality within the Sales and Customer Service modules.
• This position supports the ongoing configuration, maintenance, optimization, and user adoption of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, rather than full build-from-scratch development. The resource will also assist with user training and day-to-day platform support.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a Dynamics 365 Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Sales and Customer Service modules, supporting configuration, enhancement, and ongoing operation of the CRM platform.
• Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 components, including entities, forms, fields, workflows, business rules, views, dashboards, SLAs, queues, and security roles.
• Work directly with non-technical business users to gather, document, and clarify requirements, translating them into effective CRM configurations.
• Prioritize out-of-the-box functionality and minor customizations to meet business needs.
• Support the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance of the Dynamics 365 environment.
• Prototype and demonstrate configured solutions to users to validate requirements and improve adoption.
• Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and user training.
• Assist with data imports, exports, and minor data migration activities as needed.
• Perform quality assurance and testing to ensure configurations meet end-user requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and technical staff to support incremental CRM improvements.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and deploying new features, enhancements, and configuration updates.
Qualifications / Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in the IT industry
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, specifically:
o Sales Module
o Customer Service Module
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 configuration and customization, including workflows, business rules, security, and UI components
• Experience translating business requirements into CRM solutions
• Familiarity with JavaScript, C#, .NET, and web services (for minor customizations, not heavy development)
• Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 APIs and SDKs
• Experience with SQL, data imports/exports, and basic data migration techniques
• Understanding of CRM data modeling and user experience best practices
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
