I2X Technologies is seeking a System Tester to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO . This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

• Immediate need for a Test Analyst to assist with the organization and participation in Flight and Ground Tests.
• Help in the assessment of successful Flight and Ground Tests.
• The candidate will be responsible for identifying required resources, developing and understanding mission objectives for the system(s) under test, developing data archival and analysis plans, and developing post mission reports.
• Support of system configuration, system operation, how to navigate display screens.
• Responsible for configuration management and control of test resources, articles, and tools for data collection during the event.
• The candidate will also serve as the I&T liaison to other test participants and test managers.
• Coordinate with the project leads of various experiments to ensure seamless event execution across the entire I&T mission.
• Will develop and maintain the test architecture which includes all articles under test.
• The candidate will also develop any supplemental procedures required to ensure successful execution.
• Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated facility 4X10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Qualifications

• Emerging authority typically with an advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelors with 9+ years experience or equivalent.
• Candidates require a current TS clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.
• Must possess an understanding of systems engineering processes and logistics principles, including artifact generation (e.g. specifications, Interface Control Documents, System Architecture Descriptions, Use Cases, Trade Studies, etc).
• Experience with network applications and networking concepts is desired along with experience with military systems used in missile defense.
• Experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions using NT or similar processes and methods.
• The successful candidate will have a demonstrable ability to develop briefings and convey complex ideas in writing, be comfortable working in a team environment, be a quick study, hard worker, and interested and capable of adapting to changing technology.
• The candidate must possess strong verbal/written communications skills enabling him/her to work effectively in a small technical team environment, and to accurately represent test perspectives to system architects, software designers, other testers and test support personnel, the Government customer, and personnel in other programs.
• The candidate must understand systems engineering, systems design and development.
• The candidate will also possess 7+ years experience in a related engineering environment, with good experience and expertise in systems-of-systems definition and integration.
• Experience in Ballistic Missile defense systems is highly desired.
• Ability to analyze high level needs and through a structured and logical approach refine the need into an integrated set of requirements that leads to a fielded product.
• Ability to lead portions of the activity and direct the activities of fellow engineers.
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
• Able to write and implement engineering plans within a project.
• The successful candidate should also be familiar with the following:
  • Unix command line, Bash, Perl scripting, Linux
  • Statistics
  • Technical writing/test procedure creation
  • Communication/presentation skills
  • Space/Missile Defense experience
  • Agile development
  • Automated testing framework
  • Requirement and Verification Spreadsheet analysis
  • Experience with analysis tools: JAVA software or PYTHON scripting development
  • Conducting post-processing and quantitative/qualitative analysis of collected data
  • Development of action plans based upon analysis of data
  • Documenting software deficiency reports
  • Presenting analysis results and plans of action orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document)

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
