Job Description
As a Security Officer - Aerospace Patrol Driver in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned aerospace and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and support access control procedures. This is a driving post, offering you the opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic team that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, property damage, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining access control protocols.
- Document incidents and complete detailed reports in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
- Collaborate with site staff and first responders during emergency situations to provide support and relay pertinent information.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Must have one or more of the following: at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of experience as a security supervisor or manager, or at least three years of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
