What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns, documenting incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations or incident management, as needed.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or vendors in a courteous and professional manner while carrying out security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
