Piper Companies is seeking a senior Signal Integrity and Power Integrity (SIPI) Engineer with strong experience with signal integrity principles, simulation tools, and testing methodologies. The ideal Signal Integrity Engineer must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week in Saratoga, CA. The Signal integrity engineer is a full time position.
Requirements for the Signal Integrity Engineer include:
· Design, analyze, and optimize high-speed SerDes interfaces at 120 Gbps
· Perform signal integrity and power integrity engineering with a strong focus on Ethernet and high-speed technologies
· Comprehend PDN design and power noise reduction techniques
· Develop and execute test plans using advanced test equipment to validate signal integrity
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve signal integrity issues and improve overall system performance
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Qualifications for the Signal Integrity Engineer include:
· 10+ years of experience in signal integrity and power integrity engineering with a strong focus on high-speed technologies
· In-depth knowledge of Ethernet and PCIe protocols, such as Serdes
· Proficiency in signal integrity and power integrity simulation tools (Ansys HFSS, CST, Candence Sigrity, HSPICE, ADS)
· Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR, VNA, and JBERTs
· Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
· Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S Government Secret Clearance
Compensation for the Signal Integrity Engineer include:
· Salary range: $200,000 - $280,000 annually
