Our client, a leading organization in the defense and security industry, is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting critical security projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Java Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX (on-site)
What's the Job?
• Design, develop, and maintain back-end components of web applications.
• Implement and manage server-side logic using programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, and/or Ruby.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services for seamless integration with front-end components.
• Manage and optimize database systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Accumulo, and Hadoop.
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications.
What's Needed?
• Located in San Antonio, TX
• TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development
• Strong understanding of security best practices in web development
