Programmer Software Developer

Job Title: Programmer Software Developer.

Location: Remote/ Canada

Duration: 6 Months

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Programmer Software Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly with .NET and PLSQL, and will be able to work effectively within an agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance - Enhanced Reliability Status or higher.
• At least 5 years of experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO), Visual Studio 2022, and development using C#.
• Proficiency in utilizing the WET template (Centrally Deployed Template Solution).
• Experience with REST Client Visual Studio Extension, .net SDK, GIT, Oracle Client 64 bit (19CR364), and Oracle SQL Developer.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in leading team meetings and providing progress reports.
• Familiarity with Government of Canada's Common Look and Feel (CLF) and WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
• Ability to prepare solutions and recommend the best options.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare appropriate specifications.
• Implement PLSQL code and stored procedures for data manipulation.
• Code .NET services in C# to meet business security, architecture, and accessibility requirements.
• Develop necessary APIs and services for data processing and manipulation.
• Participate in agile scrum meetings and provide weekly progress reports to management.
• Conduct unit tests and integration tests.
• Document progress within the project Azure Dev Ops space following Agile methodology.
