Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a dynamic individual, self-motivated, with data and computing modernization experience, to join our team as a Principal Modeling and Simulation Engineer providing support to the United States Army Europe-Africa's (USAREUR) with engineering support to analyze, design, and deploy, advanced technology software modeling and simulation solutions to add capability and improve performance to the microelectronics-based Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Management (C4IM), intelligence collection and analysis, Command and Control (C2) logistical systems. The individual will shall provide technical, operational, and advisory services to enable the development of this advanced secure modeling and simulation capabilities for C4IM, intelligence collection and analysis, C2 and logistical responsibilities.
The Principal Modeling and Simulation Engineer will identify new engineering tools and environments, technology, techniques, methodology, and software to enhance systems and operations. Develop analytical reports to enhance tactical and strategic survivability and lethality decisions via quantitative and qualitative techniques. Utilize simulation tools to analyze system alternatives and develop recommendations to address mission effectiveness, vulnerability, and cost.
This position will be hybrid. Work locations will include Sterling, VA; Rockville, MD; Mount Laurel, NJ; Orlando, FL; Huntsville, AL. Other major BAE Systems work locations may also be considered.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum education and years of service required:
10+ Years with HS
8+ Years with AA
6+ Years with BS
4+ Years with MS
2+ Years with PhD
BS Degree or minimum of 10 years of experience
Working knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office
May substitute equivalent experience , training and/or certifications for the degree . Relevant experience is job-related work that provides the necessary knowledge , skill, and abilities to perform the role.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Knowledge of DoD Acquisition Regulations
Experience to include classroom work with modeling and simulation
Previous experience supporting the United States Army Europe-Africa's (USAREUR-AF) data and computing modernization efforts
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
