Job Description

As a Security Officer - Aerospace Security Clearance in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with people onsite, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and help to maintain authorized entry to restricted areas within the location.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal and client staff to support a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
