Senior Software Engineer

Description:
The Software Engineer will provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems. The SWE's full time duty location will be onsite at APG.

Location: On-site in Aberdeen, Maryland

Ray Rate: $60-70hr

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities:

• Software Development & Integration background
• DevSecOps: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD
• Kubernetes: Container lifecycle, create & customize
• Linux and Windows environment
• Scripting: PowerShell, Batch
• Front-end Web Design
• Database: Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL Server backend

Experience Requirements:
Must have experience in the following:

• Providing functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including, but not limited to application software, utility software, development software, and diagnostic software.
• Participating in the development of test strategies, devices, and systems.
• Solving engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.
• Must have an active Top Secret Clearance.
