Job Description: Senior Network Infrastructure Architect

The Role: We are seeking a high-level Network Architect to oversee global mission-critical connectivity and 24x7 operations. This role provides top-tier (Tier 4) architectural design and optimization for a high-availability global transport network. You will be responsible for ensuring network resilience, performance, and security across a distributed international footprint.

Core Responsibilities:

• Architectural Strategy: Design, upgrade, and optimize enterprise-scale network architectures to support high-bandwidth global operations.
• Engineering Excellence: Perform advanced root-cause analysis on complex infrastructure issues and implement system enhancements.
• Infrastructure Integrity: Manage version control, disaster recovery protocols, and the integration of advanced cyber defense layers.
• Operational Efficiency: Drive cost-optimization initiatives and continuous performance monitoring to ensure maximum uptime.

Technical Qualifications:

• Certifications: Expert-level networking credentials required (e.g., CCIE or equivalent multi-discipline Professional level certifications).
• Regulatory Compliance: Must meet industry-standard security compliance requirements for high-level infrastructure access.
• Network Mastery: Deep expertise in global routing and switching protocols including BGP, MPLS, and EIGRP.
• Multicast Expertise: Proven experience in advanced multicast design and troubleshooting (PIM, IGMP).

Experience & Requirements:

• Background: 12-16+ years of progressive experience in large-scale network engineering.
• Clearance: Must hold a current high-level federal security clearance with eligibility for sensitive compartmentalized information.
• Travel: Ability to travel internationally (approx. 25%) to support global sites; valid US passport required.
