Position Summary
BOOST is collaborating with Dynaxys to find a Capture Manager.
The Capture Manager is responsible for leading and executing end-to-end capture activities for federal government software and technology opportunities. This role owns opportunity shaping prior to RFP release, aligns solution strategy with customer mission needs, and drives disciplined capture processes to maximize win probability. The Capture Manager works closely with Business Development, Solution Architects, Pricing, Contracts, and Proposal teams to convert qualified pipeline into awarded revenue.
This position is ideal for a GovCon professional with deep federal acquisition knowledge, experience capturing software-centric opportunities, and a proven record of wins across competitive procurements.

Key Responsibilities:
Capture Strategy & Execution
- Lead capture efforts from opportunity qualification through proposal submission and award
- Develop and execute capture plans, including win themes, discriminator strategies, and competitive assessments
- Shape requirements through early customer engagement, industry days, RFIs, and one-on-one meetings
- Conduct Black Hat, Price-to-Win (PTW), and SWOT analyses for priority opportunities
Federal Market & Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with federal customers, integrators, and ecosystem partners
- Translate agency mission needs into differentiated software solutions (SaaS, cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, or enterprise platforms)
- Monitor acquisition forecasts, procurement vehicles, and funding signals to inform pipeline strategy
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for capture decisions and gate reviews
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, including BD, engineering, pricing, contracts, legal, and executive leadership
- Support proposal teams with solution narratives, win themes, and customer insights
- Ensure alignment between capture strategy, technical approach, and pricing strategy
Pipeline & Governance
- Maintain accurate capture data in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, GovWin)
- Support leadership briefings with capture status, risks, and probability of win assessments
- Apply disciplined capture governance and compliance with internal BD processes
Required Qualifications
- 710+ years of experience in U.S. federal government contracting (GovCon)
- Demonstrated capture leadership experience for software, IT, or digital modernization opportunities
- Proven record of supporting or leading captures resulting in competitive contract awards
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS, contract types, evaluation criteria)
- Experience working with proposal teams and pricing models (FFP, T&M, CPFF)
- Excellent executive-level communication, facilitation, and writing skills
- Ability to operate independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in government contracting.
- Professional certifications such as APMP (any level), PMP, or DAWIA/FAC-C are strongly preferred.
- Experience capturing opportunities within DoD, DHS, civilian agencies, or the intelligence community
- Familiarity with GWACs and contract vehicles (e.g., GSA MAS, Alliant, SEWP, OASIS, CIO-SP)
- Background in SaaS, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data analytics, or AI/ML solutions
- APMP (Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional) certification
Work Environment:
- Constantly operates a computer and uses other standard office equipment such as a phone, calculator, photocopier, and computer printer
- Facility to see and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without visual aids
- Occasionally lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 15

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $134,000 - $144,000, with significant performance-based bonus potential.
