SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support the G/ATOR program in Hanahan, SC location. This position is 100% on- site.
Candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Control the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
- May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production
- Plan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production
- Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans
- Support program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, asset visibility, and material management.
- Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; will work out of a central warehouse
- Use computer system and CMPro for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting
- Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements
- Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives
- Integrate learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position
- Support receiving, replacing, and retiring of HW inventory and components
- Apply processes in accordance with DoD.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active secret security clearance
- Experience with CMPro required
- Experience with common software and operating systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, but also in a team environment
- Ability to follow procedures under stressful conditions
