We are currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist - Top Secret Clearance to join our team in Quantico, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
Overview:
NTT DATA Federal is seeking a Configuration Manager/Quality Assurance Specialist to support a major federal IT project located in Quantico, Virginia.
• Configuration Management and Quality Assurance (CMQA)
• Contractor is responsible for performing the following activities/actions:
• Provides services and technical advice in Configuration Management (CM) and Quality Assurance (QA) support, advice, and services, when required.
• Provides services and technical advice in draft documents for approval and maintains internal program management documentation and Development, Operations and Maintenance Contractor documentation for CM and QA procedures, policies, and standards.
• Provides services and technical advice in tracking the status of defined contract deliverables using various manual and/or government owned software
• packages (i.e., SharePoint, if available); to include consolidating feedback. This includes over 2000 deliverables (training materials, meeting minutes/agendas,
• monthly progress reports, etc.) annually encompassing both the Development and Operations contracts.
• Provides services and technical advice in assigning and tracking defined contract deliverables for review to other client Unit members using various manual and/or government owned software packages (i.e., SharePoint, if available).
• Provides services and technical advice in maintaining the client's Program Management Office (PMO) accessible configuration software and document baseline.
• Provides services and technical advice ensuring client's internal program management documentation and Development, Operations and Maintenance Contractor documentation is archived and backed-up, for redundant information access and safeguarding.
• Provides services and technical advice in the preparation, coordination, and distribution of the Accreditation CCB meeting agenda, when required.
• Provides services and technical advice in performance compliance audits (CM operations) of the client's Contractors, when required.
• Provides services and technical advice to the PM in the use of the latest version release of the Lifecycle Management (LCM)/ Lean Agile Lifecycle Framework (LALCF) or their successor templates, evaluates the latest LCM/LALCF (or equivalent) for impact to current and future government contracts deliverables, and disseminates the latest LCM/LALCF (or equivalent), as applicable.
• Provides services and technical advice in assisting the client's COR and PM in the receipt of deliverable tracking, acceptance, rework, and archiving.
Common responsibilities, functions, and activities in addition to regular duties/performance:
• Provides services and advice to the government in the review, feedback, and approval recommendations for assigned deliverables.
• Provides services and advice in the identification, evaluation, monitoring, and resolution of program risks and issues.
• Provides services and advice to the government in preparing future program procurements, to include gap analyses. Future program objectives were previously discussed in Section 2.0, Objectives
• Provides services and advice including the attendance of local meetings and conferences, when required.
• Provides services and advice and will travel to attend meetings and conferences, when defined by the client's COR. (local, national, and international).
• Prepares and provides technical presentations on assigned topics within defined timeframes and deadlines.
• Participates in the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) exercises in appointed role(s) and locations.
Performance Outcomes/Results:
• Executes CM & QA Plan(s), when required.
• Maintain and back-up the client's Unit CM documentation and accreditation configuration items repository/reference library.
• Author and publish deliverables status reports.
• Maintain compliance audit checklists.
• CCB meeting minutes, when required.
• Interface with CM/QA counterparts on client's Ops and Dev contracts.
• Attend Program Management Review (PMR) meeting for client's Operations and Development to speak on deliverable status and any open issues.
• Other support activities/functions/duties as defined in future task orders.
Historical knowledge and skills that are beneficial in the daily performance
requirements:
• CM & QA experience
• Experience in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), MS Project, and SharePoint (User)
• Experience with large-scale, enterprise-based programs
• Knowledge of Software/Systems Development Lifecycle and Lifecycle Management (LCM)
Basic Qualifications:
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology
• H.S. Diploma + 4 years additional experience equals Associate’s Degree
• Associate’s Degree + 4 years additional experience equals Bachelor’s Degree
• A Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted for 2 years of required experience with an Associate’s Degree or 4 years with a H.S. Diploma
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a configuration management and/or quality assurance role
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology
