As our Senior Business Analyst you will be embedded within the software delivery teams elaborating new work, populating the product / service backlog, and enabling the Product Owner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elaborates small packages of work for the delivery team
- Ensures work delivered by the team fulfils the objectives
- Is able to, lead small teams, being accountable for the quality of delivery.
- Is able to, facilitate workshops to build collaboration between project team members.
- Liaison with Product Owner and project Stakeholders during design work.
- Liaison with key roles within the project team to deliver the requested requirement.
- Takes initiative to keep skills up to date
Competency/Skill requirements
Essential
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (e.g. Systems, Software, Hardware, Safety, Security etc)
- Good Business Analysis knowledge across all aspects of Engineering including Requirements, Architecture, Design, Integration, V&V, Decommission.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Highly-organised with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Competent in PowerPoint and face-to-face presentation delivery.
- Strong customer orientation.
Desirable
- Experience of applying Business Analysis in Defence and Security sectors
- Experience with Confluence, Jira/Gitlab
