Role Overview
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you'll:
• Build and test flight and ground support hardware.
• Assemble, modify, and rework prototypes and production units.
• Collaborate with engineers to solve technical issues and implement improvements.
• Gain certifications and expand skills in soldering, bonding, harness fabrication, and module assembly.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical, bonding, and electrical fabrication.
• Execute repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks with precision.
• Disassemble, modify, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies.
• Evaluate new processes, tools, and products, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with Manufacturing and Quality Engineers to support corrective actions.
Work Environment
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
• Hands-on work requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Flexible schedule with shift work, extended hours, and weekend support as needed.
• Exposure to advanced space technologies and experimental hardware.

Candidates must meet all requirements below to be considered:
• Strong mechanical dexterity and hands-on technical skills.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from schematics, drawings, wiring lists, and technical documentation.
• Proven ability to assemble detailed parts/components into finished products.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Completion of required certifications:
o JSTD-001
o SSC JSTD001MAP Solder Operator
o SSC NASA Polymerics Operator
o SSC NASA Cable/Harness Operator
Desired Skills:
Nice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy
• Expertise in mechanical assembly, bonding, polymerics, and cable fabrication.
• Proficiency with hand tool precision machining, drilling, fixtures, and bonding processes.
• Experience with mechanical fabrication of avionics boxes, ground support racks, or CCA fabrication.
• Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint (VE-CAMS and SAP preferred).
• 2+ years of industry experience is a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
