JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a RF Spectrum Manager to support a U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) Persistent Spectrum Monitoring mission in Germany. This position is contingent upon award of the contract and will support mission-critical electromagnetic spectrum operations across the USAREUR area of responsibility.
The RF Spectrum Manager will provide technical expertise and support for spectrum planning, coordination, monitoring, and compliance in support of U.S. Army and allied operational requirements in complex environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide spectrum management support for persistent spectrum monitoring operations
Plan, coordinate, and deconflict frequency usage across multiple platforms and operational environments
Support U.S. Army, joint, and coalition stakeholders within the USAREUR AOR
Analyze electromagnetic spectrum usage and interference and recommend mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with DoD, U.S. Army, host nation, and international spectrum regulations
Develop spectrum-related documentation, reports, and operational plans
Coordinate with government, coalition, and technical partners
Serve as a subject matter expert for spectrum monitoring systems and tools
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of RF engineering experience; or
Graduate of a DoD Inter-service Radio Frequency Management School (or DoD equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of spectrum management experience
This position requires an active Secret (Tier 3) security clearance
Preferred Qualifications include:
Professional credentials such as iNARTE Spectrum Management (SM) Engineer or Certified Spectrum Manager (CSM) are highly desired
Certified Project Manager is highly desirable
