Leidos has an opening in our Digital Modernization Sector for a talented and energetic Senior Financial Analyst Lead to work with the best and brightest employees around the country in creating innovative all-encompassing solutions for our programs. Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting (net bookings, revenue, OI/fee and cash), and effectively managing financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with program team and across Leidos functions to define program goals, establish budget, and prepare and maintain EAC by analyzing progress reported against the program baseline and ETC.
- Make recommendations to leadership for making business decisions and significant improvements in programs, processes, and solutions to enhance results.
- Proposal involvement (pricing and cost volume leadership) and building internal and external relationships to grow the program and achieve strategic goals.
- Continuously drive reporting process and system enhancements to increase speed, consistency and accuracy of KPI reporting, utilizing expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced principles, and concepts of a professional family
- Support ad-hoc cost reporting and performance analysis.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting OR related field and 8+ years of experience OR a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Able to perform functions such as financial planning, financial analysis, and general accounting.
- Must be able to extract data from multiple sources and effectively summarize the current financial position of the program.
- Have expert knowledge of the project finance field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments independently. This position requires a problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analysis of multifaceted, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions.
- Be committed to customer service, be well organized, be able to plan and prioritize assignments, and be able to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be courteous and professional.
- Have the ability to work with remote teams and in a fast-paced environment.
- Propose and implement project/program improvements.
- Strong background in the entire Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, particularly in the development of formulas, v-lookups, and macros.
- Demonstrate advanced analytical skills.
- Positive can-do attitude, excellent communication, and problem solving skills.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Able to obtain at minimum Public Trust security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Leidos Financial Systems such as Costpoint, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Cognos, Power BI, and ServiceNow.
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level).
