Seneca Technologies is seeking a Front-End User Experience (UX) Developer to support a program with the Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service. The objective of this work is to collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into code.
The Front-End UX Developer is responsible for creating user interfaces that are visually appealing and functional. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to work seamlessly with backend developers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Design and implement visual elements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Code solutions from business requirements documentation.
- Advise on selection of front-end frameworks.
- Use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
- Ensure responsiveness and accessibility of web applications across different devices.
- Test and optimize the website for performance and user experience.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned in support of the project.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with an appropriate toolset for development and deployment of front-end web-applications.
- Use resources effectively and efficiently to get work completed in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in front-end development.
- US Citizen and able to pass security clearances as required for Government contracts.
- Minimum 3 years of professional architecture experience in AWS.
- Minimum five years of recent professional experience with hands-on development and successful delivery of web applications using modern web frameworks such as React, Vue.js, and/or Angular.
- Ability to present and lead customers through technical assessment and solution architecture.
- Proficiency with source control processes such as Git, work item management, branch management, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge and experience with professional software development patterns and practices.
- Experience with end-to-end application development is a must.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with estimating software solutions and assessing project risk.
- Experience with Agile development processes.
