Help
Serves as the base training manager, ensuring that Unit Training Managers (UTMs) and Additional Duty Training Managers (ADUTMs) are qualified in and knowledgeable of their responsibilities. Assists in advising UTMs/ADUTMs, commanders, 1st Sergeants and Civilian Training offices ensuring that OJT and ancillary training programs are in compliance with local policies, procedures, and guidelines geared specifically towards the accomplishment of training programs. Manages base-level training (military/civilian OJT). Serves as the base's training advisor and performs Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs). Gathers and compiles Education and Training data and performs miscellaneous duties.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, for 1702, Education and Training Technician Series.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include I have, or within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement will have, at least 3 years of general experience, 1 year of which is equivalent to Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-04), level, pay band (NH-01), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay band, etc). Specialized experience includes demonstrating skills in critical thinking in identifying, analyzing, and solving complex issues; displaying personal accountability in leading, overseeing, guiding, and/or managing programs and projects within assigned areas of responsibility; planning and conducting functional technical activities for projects/programs; identifying and resolving conventional problems which may require deviations from accepted policies or instructions; working with customers to develop a mutual understanding of their requirements; monitoring and influencing cost parameters or work, tasks, and projects; and establishing priorities that reflect mission and organizational goals.
