What You'll Do:
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols when necessary.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
- Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when security-related incidents arise.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.
- Participate in emergency response activities, following established procedures for the aerospace and defense environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
