About the Role
TEKsystems, as a subcontractor for a leading Defense Integrator, is seeking a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer II to support the Common Data Fabric (CDF) program within the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This program is critical to enabling secure, efficient, and scalable data sharing across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE).
As a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer II, you will design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient software development and deployment pipelines. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices seamlessly into the development and operations lifecycle, ensuring delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security practices into the SDLC
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Perform security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
Monitor and analyze system/application logs for security incidents and respond promptly
Implement and manage IAM solutions with proper authentication and authorization mechanisms
Provide guidance on secure coding practices and assist in remediation of findings
Participate in incident response activities and maintain security documentation and policies
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship required)
7+ years as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role focused on security integration in SDLC
Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, Selenium, Fortify, Acunetix, Prisma Cloud)
Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing cloud-based applications
Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and integration
Top Skills:

CI/CD pipeline expertise (Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory)
IaC experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
